A featured auction selection and a significant milestone in my creative tenure, The Weight of the Crown is a physical exploration of power, heritage, and the internal fortitude required to lead. This mixed-media work on canvas utilizes high-luster gold leaf and heavy-bodied acrylics to create a crown that feels both regal and battle-worn.
The rich, hand-applied textures within the silhouette represent the layers of a legacy—the "no boundaries" journey of the soul before it reaches the throne.
